O854 leaves Yeoman Yard around 6am, arrives in Bradenton usually around 7:30am and spots the empties in the yard at the Tropicana facility and then doubles the loads out of Bradenton yard and heads back to Tampa usually by 10am. At Yeoman, the train is re-crewed and heads North as Q740. Today, there was an issue with the mainline switch at Big Bend, and the train was delayed about an hour and a half, so the Southbound is seen crossing the river/in good light, rather than the usual darkness. |

Meanwhile CSXT 6900 (GP40-2) and CSXT 2315 (Road Slug, former GP35) lead O825 which consists of "10 square" (covered phosphate hoppers), "18 round" (molten sulphur tanks) out of the yard toward Central Junction. CSX O825 is a daily turn which goes from Hookers Point (Port of Tampa) to Central, the CF Phosphate plant East of Plant City on the Plant City Sub. The consist is usually this same mother/slug set every day. Meanwhile, the Juice train typically has a pair of ES44DC engines, although occasionally an AC unit of some type shows up. |

CSXT 5465 leads a loaded grain train through downtown Thurmond, WV. The coaling tower, old abandoned buildings and C&O cantilever signals still stand as reminders of the past at this historic location which is now part of the New River National Historic Park. The building on the right was once the C&O company store, then later the Post Office, now it is one of the many abandoned buildings which makes up the smallest incorporated city in West Virginia, population 7. |
