What do you do when nature gives you lemons? You make lemonade! It's a dreary, cold, rainy fall West Virginia day where conditions are horrible for photography? You go inside an old depot and make the conditions work to your advantage. This photo is taken from the Yardmaster's office in the old C&O Thurmond, WV railroad depot. Looking railroad West toward "downtown" Thurmond, as a CSX unit grain train led by CSX ES44DC 5486, CW44-9 9007 and a CW40-8 passes by.
