Description:
Georgia Central U23B 3946 and two other former Southern Railway U23Bs sit in the yard in Macon, GA on a very cold January morning. The Georgia Central Railroad, runs over the former Seaboard Air Line railroad from Macon to Savannah and interchange with NS in Macon, Heart of Georgia in Vidalia, GA and CSX and NS in Savannah. Their roster currently consists of exclusively GE U23Bs, mostly of Southern Railway heritage.
