BNSF 4039
Title:  BNSF 4039
Description:  BNSF 4039 and two ES44DC's sit in the siding at Walapai, AZ as the moon rises in the distance. Note the 4039 has one black numberboard and one white numberboard. I have no idea why 3 engines, all idling, would all be sitting here with no crew in the middle of the desert. This is not helper territory.

BNSF 7603
Title:  BNSF 7603
Description:  BNSF 7603 and 2 other ES44DC's leading a double stack train through Kingman Canyon near Kingman, AZ. Note the heat distortion coming from the dynamic brake grids of these 3 units. The railroad quickly goes from very straight 70mph running to a 3=mph twisty canyon in a very short distance and Westbounds are in FULL dynamic braking from the depot in Kingman until about 2 miles from here, then it's run8 again all the way to Needles, CA.
