Who would have thought 20 years ago you would find Bluefield, WV as a hub of intermodal activity. In this scene we have a Eastbound stack train led by dash 9s NS 9265, NS 9459 and SD60 NS 6564 while a Westbound stack train enters the yard on an adjacent track. Bluefield is the crew change point for all through freight. The Eastbound crew just came on duty and is ready to assault the New River Valley with 11800 horsepower.
